Alex is a research specialist leveraging her science expertise to support a variety of IP matters including patent portfolio development, patentability and FTO searches. Her thesis was on the Yes-associated protein 1 (YAP) and its PDZ binding motif transcriptional co-activator, TAZ (Wwtr1) transcriptional co-regulators, and the implications in driving metastatic capacity in melanoma, as well as cell migration, and survival. Alex holds a M.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics from Boston University. She received a full scholarship to the BU Women’s Ice Hockey Team.
